What is monitor jewelry?
See the little sensor I wear on my arm? That's my Dexcom G7 — it keeps an eye on my sugar day and night. Monitor jewelry is a pretty rhinestone cover that SNAPS right on top of it. It doesn't change how my sensor works — it just dresses it up. Like earrings, but for my monitor. It snaps on, it snaps off, and I can use it again and again.
Mine is the Leopard one
I picked the Leopard cover, baby — bold, just like me. It landed at my door on October 14, and now you can see it on my arm in my videos, shining in every frame.
Where mine came from
My cover came from a little shop on Etsy called SweetLikeJoy. They only make two things, and here they are: (1) Dexcom G7 rhinestone covers — $5 to $18, in styles like Leopard, Pink, Blue, American Flag, plain no-bling, and custom. (2) Omnipod 5 + Dexcom G7 covers — $10 to $40 — covers for the pump, the sensor, or a matching set of both together.
One more thing, plain and true: monitor jewelry is about looking good and feeling like yourself. It's fashion, baby — pretty on purpose.
